Alex Notes ♪♪: The Reno Philharmonic begins its 56th season with Beethoven’s “Eroica Symphony.”  Their website describes it as “a supreme work that is heroic, somber, and ecstatic.”  Eric Fassbender will be featured on bassoon in “Concerto for Bassoon in F Major, op. 75.”  Also on the program is “Kauyamari” (meaning “blue deer”) by Gabriela Ortiz.  Don’t forget to attend the pre-concert talks that begin one hour before the performance.
